Desktop
Standard Maintenance is offered on an annual basis for desktop software.
Volume discounts are offered only for ArcView GIS and most ArcView
GIS Extensions. Standard Maintenance is defined as 12 months of
technical support for one contact and upgrades for one license.
This allows the user to easily budget the cost of upgrades and support. |

technical fee subscription from ESRI: The subscription may be purchased
anytime and includes telephone support for one (1) contact. Renewal
of support subscription is optional, but recommended. Technical
support subscriptions do not include upgrades. |

The
first 12 months of maintenance comes with ArcGIS. ESRI will automatically
quote second and subsequent years. |

Pay-as-you-go
|
Pay-as-you-go
tech support if offered to users of desktop software. The per-incident
fee of $50 covers ESRI's basic cost to close an average incident. |
